West Wiltshire Young Musicians

West Wiltshire Young Musicians

Young musicians from across the county are encouraged, when ready, to join one of the county's bands or orchestras. The aim is to give them the chance to experience high quality music making and contribute to their musical education. The ensembles also have a commitment to regional and national festivals - musicians in the Junior Strings groups, Youth Orchestra and Concert Band have all played in London's Royal Festival Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham. Each group will normally give at least two public performances during the course of a year.

Many of the rehearsals take place here at Wiltshire Music Centre, all of which are after school hours on weekdays during term time.

The annual subscription fee is £60 or £22 per term. For more information please contact James Monkton (Assistant Head, Wiltshire Music Service) phone 01225 860116, by email, or visit their website.
