Zone Club

Zone Club

Learning disabled young adults aged 16+ visit the Centre for Zone Club on the first Saturday of each month. They make music, write songs, dance, and make films with outstanding, highly experienced musicians - Bob Heath, Pete McPhail, members of Babyhead (Bristol-based rap band) along with Mark Bishop (film-maker) and Lucy Howells (choreographer).

Having started in 2008, future plans include a Zone Club band, a Wiltshire-wide regular radio programme as well as opportunities for Zone Clubbers to be involved in other Wiltshire Music Centre projects. If you'd like to come along or know someone who'd like to, please contact Sara Milward-Oliver.

A further development of Zone Club is Outer Zone, (part of Wiltshire Music Connect) - a music project for children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities in residential centres.
