Berlioz' King Lear overture combines extraordinary

performance of Reinecke's lovely and unjustly neglected Flute
Concerto follows. The second half begins with Grieg's hugely
popular Peer Gynt music before the biting brilliance of
Stravinsky's neo-classical Symphony brings the concert to a
