streets of New Orleans, the Caribbean and Brazil. Widely regarded
as the finest jazz clarinet player in the world today, Evan
Christopher and his soaring melodies are accompanied by the
weaving, sultry rhythms of guitar and double bass. Combining
virtuosity, style and infectious enthusiasm, tonight they celebrate
the music of the legendary Django Reinhardt and enliven swing-era
classics with fresh interpretations, tasteful arrangements and
virtuosic improvisations.
