Moishe's Bagel

Big on rhythm and alive with energy, this is rip-roaring traditional Jewish music fused with Balkan gypsy folk, jazz and Middle Eastern rhythms. Brought to you by five of the best instrumentalists Scotland has to offer, this highly danceable, foot-stomping klezmer/Balkan groove is delivered with impressive technique and great style. Full of life and completely fearless, these fantastic musicians have a great sense of humour and are a real joy to be entertained by.

'There is something about this fearless Edinburgh quintet that is impossible not to like.' Songlines

This was a hugely enjoyable evening of virtuoso playing in a variety of styles. The performers were modest and understated but their quality was there for all to see. They really deserved the excellent reception they got!
