Specialist music classes for babies and children under five.

These weekly music classes give little ones a fun and high quality introduction to the fundamentals of music. Each 30-minute class is filled with singing original and traditional songs that introduce young children to rhythm, pitch and dynamic. Teachers are trained musicians and use the Kodaly approach to make music accessible. We use Italian terms such as forte and piano, presto and lento - the children often pick these up faster than the adults! As children progress through the age grouped classes they begin to pick up more about reading and writing musical notation too. You can expect puppets, scarves, teddies and musical instruments to be provided and a lovely small class group so that each session is tailored to the children in the class.
