One of the ways that you can help to ensure that the Wiltshire Music Centre continues to thrive for future generations is by leaving a donation in your will.

The Gift of a Lifetime

Legacies allow us to plan with confidence. Every legacy, whatever the amount, brings us closer to achieving our vision: to maximise opportunities for live music to inspire, enrich and transform people’s lives.

With your support WMC will continue to flourish, offering musical inspiration for decades to come and passing your love of music on to others long beyond your lifetime.

Your Support Matters

Wiltshire Music Centre is a charity. Less than two thirds of our income is derived from ticket sales, events and other earned income. The balance is fundraised through grants, private donations, public funding and income from the Centre’s Endowment.

Legacies and other donations are vital, enabling us to stage ambitious concerts which would not otherwise be possible, reach out to new audiences young and old, nurture the next generation of musical talent, and bring music to people across the region through our many creative learning and community projects.

In the past ten years, legacy gifts have enabled us to:

  • Create the new Head of Creative Learning role and expand our education programme from 10 to 30 projects for 5,000 children
  • Provide critical support for Young Artists at the start of their performance careers
  • Host the national disability arts festival, Fast Forward in 2018
  • Carry out essential upgrades to the building
  • Invest in support over 20 years, guaranteeing live music for future generations.

Saying Thank You

We appreciate that leaving a gift in your will is a very personal decision, but if you are thinking of remembering WMC, please consider telling us so that we can say thank you, keep you updated on our work and plans for the future, and invite you to special events and donor receptions.

To speak to someone in confidence about leaving WMC a legacy or a gift in someone’s memory, please contact James Slater, Chief Executive on 01225 860110 or email
