Wiltshire Music Centre invites you to join our #TeamWMC and run our Virtual 10K on Sunday 31st May from wherever you are to help WMC to provide musical opportunities in Wiltshire!

What is a Virtual 10K?

WMC invites you to put your trainers on and run wherever you are to raise money for our charitable activity. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail or on the treadmill, and then submit your effort either by logging your activity through your computer or tracking your run with your phone!

We will provide you with everything you need to set you up and be a part of our online community of runners, including supporters, concert goers, Creative Learning participants, volunteers and staff.

Why run for Team WMC?

Our venue and sector are facing extremely challenging times, as Wiltshire Music Centre has been forced to temporarily close its doors. Concert income normally represents over 40% of our annual income, and so we have to raise over £75,000 a year in individual donations to deliver our Artistic and Creative Learning & Community Engagement programmes.

We need your help more than ever to ensure that we can continue to deliver high-quality ensembles for young musicians, creative opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities, and cultural activities to rurally isolated older people across the county.

Get Race Ready!

By joining #TeamWMC, you can join our online community of runners who will complete a 10K run on the morning of Sunday 31st May. As a member of #TeamWMC, you will receive:

  • #TeamWMC's Fundraising Pack with training plans, fundraising tips and more...
  • Your own personalised online fundraising page to help you reach your goa
  • Advice and support from WMC in all aspects to the lead up to the event
  • Opportunities to connect with the #TeamWMC community, including tracking your progress on Strava and joining the #TeamWMC Virtual After Party!

Let's get training and support music in Wiltshire!
