We are delighted to be opened again to the public since 1st September 2020 for community projects, venue hire and live music practice. We have made a number of changes to keep you safe throughout the Centre, so read on to find out more about what a visit to WMC will look like from now on.
We ask everyone to be mindful that some people are unable to wear a face covering and the reasons for that might not be immediately apparent.
Enter the building through the Main Entrance.
Follow the one-way system either into the Foyer, Auditorium or teaching corridor.
The one-way system leads visitors along the backstage corridor, past our studios and rooms and exits at the Stage Door.
Please keep left when using the stairs to access the Mezzanine level or top of the Auditorium. Keep left as you ascend and descend.
Toilets are located in the Foyer with men’s, women’s and disabled toilets. As you queue for toilets please remember to social distance. As you use the basins please remember to keep 2 metres apart.
There are also toilets located in the backstage corridor, if you are using a studio, the Henry Smart or the Nestle room. After use, please remember to use the one-way system to exit the building and re-enter through the Main Entrance to return.
Toilets are cleaned regularly.
We have made clear signage about all these changes, and this is displayed around the Centre. See whether you can identify all the musical instruments embedded into our signs!
You may also download the flier below as a reminder of key information, and this flier is also available for reference in the Centre.

This will be updated on a regular basis. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any question or suggestion.
