Miranda works as a psychotherapist specialising in the mental health of professional musicians. She is also a board member of Opera Settecento, a baroque revival company led by Leo Duarte. Until its acquisition by Universal Music, Miranda was Managing Director of Ricordi & Durand in the UK for BMG, responsible for signing and publishing composers as well as licensing the use of great operatic works of the 19th and 20th centuries. Miranda has worked as a copyist for the BBC, a performers’ agent and has had articles and reviews published in Classical Music and Opera Britannia. She is currently editor of Handel News.
