Few composers’ work has had the enduring influence that Beethoven’s music has enjoyed, and his string Quartets continue to challenge, confound and inspire audiences and performers to this day. We are delighted to present this mini festival in association with our Young String Quartet in Residence the Marmen Quartet and guest lecturer Katy Hamilton. Through a varied programme of events that chart his influence on the genre, we will explore the music, the man, and his place in our time.

We are excited to be able to off a Beethoven 250 Festival Pass for just £50. This covers all the concert, lectures and recitals with both the Marmen Quartet and Katy Hamilton. Furthermore, this pass, and all concert events in the Festival are completely free for Under 25s, thanks to the support of the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust. Lunch and supper clubs are additional.

Please Note: Festival passes must be booked through the Box Office on 01225 860100, and cannot be booked online. For individual events see below for more information and to book online.
