With a voice that has been described as “irresistible baritone softness” (Classical Source), Richard Robbins is fast becoming one of London’s busiest and in-demand tenors. He will perform alongside Alexander Soares, a BBC Music Magazine Rising Star pianist making his return to WMC. They will present lieder from across the continent, including Franz Schubert’s enduring Ganymed, to the musical stylings of some of Broadway’s finest, including the legendary Stephen Sondheim and current favourite Jason Robert Brown.
