A British mezzo-soprano of Ukrainian descent, Rozanna Madylus is an award-winning graduate of the Royal Academy Opera School. Joining Lithuanian pianist Rokas Valuntonis on stage for her WMC debut, the programme includes Ukranian composer Lysenko’s setting of A Poet’s Love, which draws on Heinrich Heine’s romantic prose made famous by Robert Schumann.
