Part of the #WorldBeats Percussion Festival
Percussionists spend their lives researching, refining and experimenting with different sounds. In these five high-energy and inclusive workshops, you can explore the musical and dance traditions of the Middle East, South and Central America, Africa and Europe, through experimenting with sound and movement using body percussion, whistles, drums and shakers.
The workshops will be led by leading percussionists and the day will conclude with a short foot-stomping finale performance given by all participants.
