Canadian string trio blend bluegrass, folk, jazz and classical
Mandolin virtuoso Andrew Collins, winner of seven Canadian Folk Music Awards and a five-time JUNO nominee, is joined by Adam Shier and James McEleney for a lively collision of folk, new acoustic roots, chambergrass and jazz. Expect dazzling musicianship as they showcase a dizzying number of styles and instruments on stage. A dynamic genre-hopping show with Andrew Collins’s captivating lead vocals and accompanying soaring harmonies.
Their most recent offering of 2024, The Rule of Three continues in the Trio’s playful exploration into musical adventure, was nominated for three Canadian Folk Music Awards.
Simply put, this is a stellar band that resists categorization and one that will expand the listener's range and appreciation of style.
