Annual Garden Party Fundraiser

We can't wait to welcome you to our 2024 annual Garden Party fundraising event, held in a private garden in Steeple Ashton!

We’re delighted to announce that this year’s fundraising Garden Party event is in the garden of a private home in Steeple Ashton, the use of which has been kindly donated to us by two of our donors.  We would love you to join us in order to raise vital funds for our wonderful venue.

We’ll be serving delicious canapés crafted and donated by the Fat Fowl Kitchens and served by our staff team, along with fizz, wine and soft drinks. Musicians from our youth orchestras will be on hand to entertain you and there will be speeches, plus plenty of time for chatting, mingling and meeting new and old friends. Not forgetting touring these beautiful gardens and taking part in our amazing annual raffle with donations from generous local businesses – details to be announced over the coming weeks.

This event is primarily held for Friends of Wiltshire Music Centre, who support our work by donating to a regular membership scheme that starts from £30 annually. So if you would like to come along, you will need Priority Booking access first. You receive this as a Friend or by special invitation. To join please do sign up as a Friend online or give the Box Office a ring on 01225 860100 before buying your tickets.

This year, we are not sending out a formal invitation, partly as an environmental measure and partly so we protect the privacy of the homeowners. Once you have bought your ticket or tickets, you will receive an e-ticket but we will contact you with the address nearer the event.

It costs us an additional £200,000 each year to continue our community work with groups like learning disabled young adults, youth orchestras, plus to maintain our venue that provides a central hub for all kinds of organisations like the Parkinson’s Cafe and baby and toddler groups. We also need to raise funds to continue to keep our ticket prices reasonable and to be able to programme such a wide range of concerts.
