Bader’s Big Band

A fabulous sound and extensive repertoire including all the greats

The first ever big band consisting almost entirely of musicians with a disability.

An ambitious project initiated by the Douglas Bader Foundation, ‘Bader’s Big Band’ is the first ever Big Band consisting entirely of musicians from the UK  affected by mental, sensory or physically challenging issues.

The band has already performed at several venues, including air shows, festivals and private events, and received great feedback. There has been nothing like it and we are so proud of what they have achieved since they started playing together.
