Introduction to Music Production

For young people aged 15+ years

Interested in learning more about music production? Come to our introductory workshop to discover how to turn a musical idea into a recorded track. Led by our expert Practitioners, you will gain experience in using Logic Pro and Ableton Live, as well as free digital workstations available and how you can use them at home to continue your music production journey. 

About the music leaders: Alex Lupo and Tom Bazeley

Alex Lupo is a musician, educator, trainer, and music therapist. As a composer, performer and sound designer Alex has played, recorded and written music all over the world, collaborating with and working alongside PJ Harvey, Charlotte Harding, The Paraorchestra, and The Terra Collective, among others.

Tom Bazeley Born, raised and based in the West Country, Tom has a love of (nearly) all kinds of music, based on wide-ranging experience as a multi-instrumentalist playing with symphony orchestras, gigging and recording on the London and Birmingham club and band scenes, at festivals all over Europe, and as a producer, composer and teacher.  Tom runs Purple Noise, who provide music tuition and studio services in Wiltshire and Somerset. He teaches rock & pop keyboards and brass, music theory, composition and music production/technology.
