World-Folk from fast-paced Scottish band

Describing themselves as ‘World-folk’, this energetic quartet have fascinated audiences for over 10 years, performing in 25 countries and at major festivals worldwide.  Their music draws inspiration from Balkan rhythms, North American roots, and jazz harmonies.

Forged in Scotland and Ireland’s traditional music scene, but drawing on the music of the Balkans and North America, Dallahan take their listeners on a journey. Traversing styles and countries of the world in a dazzling live show, they create their own unique brand of World-folk with rousing jigs and reels to evocative ballads. Having performed their live show in 25 countries, Dallahan are now a veteran touring outfit, and with each album they continue to evolve their sound, as is evident on their latest studio album, ‘Speak of the Devil’ released in June 2023.

“Some of the most exciting trad musicians to emerge in recent years”
