More about our foyer bar pianist
Jenny Steward is a keen amateur pianist who has been teaching in the Somerset and Wiltshire area for over 10 years and who is currently working towards her ARSM diploma with Joseph Segal, a piano teacher based at Wiltshire Music Centre. She describes the programme she’ll be playing as “a brief tour of some of the greats including pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Liszt, Chopin and Brahms,” keeping it light as is appropriate for a busy bar setting. She’ll also bring along a copy of The Pianist’s A-Z by Alfred Brendel and highlight relevant pages for the audience to browse.
One of the most fascinating films about pianists ever made
