As the founding member of the acclaimed Phronesis, Jasper Høiby presents his new piano trio 3Elements, featuring the exceptional talents of Xavi Torres on piano and Naima Acuna on drums. His fresh and dynamic approach to jazz mixes intricate composition with infectious grooves.

As the founding member of Phronesis, one of the most talked about and acclaimed European jazz bands during the last decade, Jasper Høiby presents his new piano trio 3Elements. With a melodic and bold, bass-driven sound that highlights Høiby’s knack for enthralling musical synergy, 3Elements features a revolving line-up of some of Europe’s best emerging talent this lineup features the exceptional talents of Xavi Torres on piano and Naima Acuna on drums.

His collaborations span across a spectrum of the jazz scene’s luminaries including Tigran Hamasyan, Jason Lindner, Jeff Ballard, Shai Maestro, Mark Guiliana, Verneri Pohjola, Marius Neset, Django Bates, Sun Mi Hong, Miquel Zenón, Louis Cole, Makaya McCraven, Ben Lamar Gay, Wolfgang Muthspiel and Kit Downes. He is the recipient of Copenhagen Jazz Festival’s ‘Young Spirit Award’ alongside honorary award winners Jack DeJohnette and Palle Mikkelborg. In 2024 3Element’s Like Water was nominated for the Danish Jazz Awards. Høiby has appeared at jazz clubs, concert halls and festivals worldwide including Montreal Jazz Festival (CA), Queen Elizabeth Hall (UK), Melbourne Recital Hall (AUS), Concertgebouw (NL) to name a few.
