From her BBC Proms debut with Chineke!, to her recent debut album, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason has impressed audiences. This journey through piano masterpieces includes Florence Price’s remarkable work combining African American spirituals with expressive Romantic styles.

Jeneba Kanneh-Mason has captivated audiences with her “maturity in performance and interpretation” (Fraser) and her career has blossomed since her WMC debut in 2022. Myriad sonic worlds are explored in this diverse programme – from Bach’s poise to Beethoven’s drama, from Chopin’s elegance to Debussy’s lyricism. The programme culminates in Florence Price’s remarkable Fantasie Negre No 1, combining traditional elements of African American spirituals with expressive Romantic styles.

BUDDY BUS!

This season we are trialling a new Buddy bus as we know some of our audience are finding it harder attend our concerts without support.

The bus will provide safe door to door transport to and from selected concerts at a cost of approximately £10-15.  The bus is for anyone who needs assistance travelling.
