A continental voyage with Europe's finest

VIVALDI Concerto for strings in G minor RV 157 ‘Concerto di Parigi’
ALBINONI Concerto for trumpet and orchestra in B flat major ‘Concerto San Marco’
BACH Violin Concerto in A minor BWV 1041
HOLST St Paul’s Suite Op 29 No 2
DELIUS Two Aquarelles
MOZART Divertimento in D major KV136

Comprised of talented young musicians from eighteen European nations, Kammerphilharmonie Europa have performed in many prestigious concert halls and opera houses across the continent. Making their WMC debut, their joyous programme features the dynamic energy of Antonio Vivaldi’s concerto, dedicated to the city of Paris, and the triumph of Tomaso Albinoni’s trumpet concerto. The programme climaxes with the exuberance of Mozart’s Divertimento; a gem reflecting his time travelling in Italy.

Please note the change in programme from our most recent brochure at the artist’s request. JANIEWICZI Divertimento for string orchestra has been replaced by HOLST St Paul’s Suite Op 29 No 2.
