German singer and actress recounts the life of Hollywood icon in songs and stories
Thirty years ago in Paris, the Moliere award-winning Ute Lemper had a three-hour phone call with Marlene Dietrich, discussing the Hollywood star’s fabulous life. That talk inspired this glamorous and insightful show, in which Ute sings Marlene’s songs, and tells stories from the chapters of her life: from the Berlin cabaret years to her Burt Bacharach collaborations.
