Chair of The Board
We’re looking for a dynamic and visionary Chair to lead our charity into its next chapter – some who is both entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the big-picture thinking to guide long-term strategy, and the hands-on commitment to support our day-to-day impact.
The leadership team has been recently reinvigorated with the new appointments of Sarah Robertson (Executive Director) and Daniel Clark (Artistic Director). WMC will be changing and growing quickly over the next few years – with exciting developments, new music and artistic change – it’s a prime opportunity to get involved and be part of making meaningful change.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Board and ensure effective governance
- Champion our vision and mission, serving as a figurehead for the organisation and its Board of Trustees
- Forge relationships with stakeholders and the wider community
- Have the necessary time and energy required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role, including regular attendance at Board meetings and key organisational events
This is a voluntary position with an initial term of three years, renewable for up to two additional three-year terms.
