Watch a special tribute concert honouring folk hero Martin Carthy's musical legacy, performed by his daughter Eliza and special guests. Plus help fundraise for Alzheimer's Society.
Following his unexpected recent retirement, we’re looking forward to honouring the iconic songs and career of Martin Carthy in a special show at Wiltshire Music Centre. This is the exclusive livestream for this tribute gig touring the UK and £2 of every ticket will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.
This evening sees Martin’s daughter Eliza joined by Tim Van Eyken, Jon Wilks and Tim Eriksen as they honour her father’s immense legacy and back catalogue. What’s more, Martin’s grandson, Finn Curran Carthy will also appear, making one of his first ever on stage appearances and playing one of his grandfather’s guitars.
Together they’ll perform an entirely new set featuring Martin’s best loved work from all eras of his career, spanning from his debut to his final albums. We invite you to join his family and friends in celebrating this great man, while also raising money for a cause close to the Carthy’s hearts.
