Three of the most influential names in folk come together in this Celtic music supergroup

Combining Irish and Scottish traditional music with impressive skill and warmth, Michael McGoldrick, John McCusker and John Doyle create authentic, accomplished music with deep roots planted deep in the Celtic tradition. They’re a true folk  supergroup — a trio whose decades-deep friendship and instinctive musical telepathy have made them a benchmark for modern folk. Between them, Michael McGoldrick (flute, uilleann pipes, whistles), John McCusker (fiddle, whistles, harmonium) and John Doyle (vocals, guitar, bouzouki, mandola) have shaped the sound of traditional music for over thirty years; as founding members of era-defining bands, members of the Transatlantic Sessions, and BBC Folk Award winners.

You’ll hear them on recordings by Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Joan Baez, David Gilmour and Paul Weller. But it’s on stage together that the magic really happens. Their live shows unfold like conversations — tunes and songs passed back and forth with humour, precision and playfulness, bridging the Irish and Scottish traditions with inventiveness and skill.

Traditional music at its most graceful, ingenious and jaw dropping
