A new British pop and rock supergroup including members from Suede and Teenage Fanclub. + Support from Charlotte Clark
This recently formed musical union features Teenage Fanclub’s frontman Norman Blake, Suede’s Bernard Butler, and James Grant from Love and Money. Together they perform heartfelt, original songs with quietly yearning vocals and soothing, harmonising guitars.
They became an entity when Douglas MacIntyre of FRETS Concerts invited them to perform a low-key concert in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, guessing that they would work well together. From there, the trio performed all over the UK and recorded a critically acclaimed album of original material at Norman Blake’s home on the banks of the River Clyde.
For their latest album, Murmurs, the trio reassembled at Norman’s studio to capture the original premise for the very early shows they played: three guitars, three voices, and selections from three extraordinary song catalogues. The first track to be released is ‘Lonely Night’, written by Blake, which initially appeared as a bonus track on Teenage Fanclub’s 2010 album ‘Shadows’.

More about the support, Charlotte Clark
Charlotte Clark discovered her passion for music at a young age. Growing up in a family that appreciated the arts, she was exposed to a variety of musical genres that would later influence her eclectic sound. Clark began her musical journey by learning to play the piano and guitar, which soon became her primary instruments for composing and performing.
Clark pursued her passion for music, honing her skills and deepening her understanding of music theory and composition. This not only refined her technical abilities but also allowed her to explore her unique artistic voice. Heavily inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, and Neil Young, Clark started performing at local venues, where her captivating voice and emotive performances quickly gained her a loyal following.
Charlotte’s career took a significant leap forward when she joined Harry Styles’ band as a keyboardist and vocalist. Touring with Styles exposed her to a global audience and provided invaluable experience performing in front of large crowds. As well as iconic television appearances such as Saturday Night Live and Jools Holland.
In 2020 she released her debut single, “Disarray,” which showcased her ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with soulful melodies. After releasing her debut EP ‘Warm Weather’ in the peak of the pandemic, Charlotte marked her debut in fine fashion, garnering over 5 million streams on her 5-track strong catalog. The record was co-penned and produced by Scott Verrill (Good Neighbours), and was mixed by Odd Martin (Sigrid, Aurora, Rhys Lewis). Since then, the Somerset based artist has found a sonic home for her songs that is truly hers. Through unraveling, unlearning and taking it back to basics, 2023 saw the release of her second EP ‘Babygirl’ where Clark isn’t afraid to let the world in on what’s most personal to her. The songs sit on a raw bed of guitars and trashy drums complimented by her pop vocal and memorable hooks. Her music has garnered national radio play on Radio 1’s Future Artists, 1Xtra’s Alternative selection and BBC Introducing, as well as a sold out debut headline show in London.
