Take part in our Spring/Summer 2021 visual art project with local artist and workshop leader James Aldridge, designed for older people living in Wiltshire and for all abilities.

You can join this project by using our inspiring free resource pack or booking free outdoor creative art workshops with James, observing nature from your own garden, or local outdoor space.

Would you like to:

  • take some time to sit, notice and chat about your local natural environment…
  • use art to record what you notice, creating journals and collections…
  • design your own postcard to send to friends and family…
  • have the opportunity to share your creative work with others in an online exhibition?

How to take part in Noticing Nature

  • Download the resource pack
  • Watch the introductory video below and then you can try any of the activities at home independently, with carers/family or with a group, and send your work to us to join our online exhibition.
  • Book a series of 3 free workshops with James in your own garden, or local outdoor space to work creatively together and produce your own work, including postal art to send to friends and family and share in our online exhibition. Covid-safe practice adhered to at all times during outdoor workshops.
  • You can also refer someone you know who would benefit from this project and we will get in touch with them to tell them more about it.
