A month of creative activities for children, young people, and families over the summer holidays
From music and drama to animation and circus skills, Summer Fun is back with creative activities for young people and families between Monday 28 July and Friday 22 August 2025.
Explore your interests or try something new across a range of workshops, concerts and activities using our programme drop-down menu below.
Parental / guardian consent forms for children and young people participating in these activities must be completed prior to the event. Consent forms will be sent shortly after your booking has been processed by our team.

Activity Programme
Whether you were born to perform or are completely new to the stage, this workshop is for you! Five days that are jam-packed with singing, acting, and dancing, where we rehearse a show-stopping mystery musical. This culminates in a performance for your friends and family to enjoy on the last day, complete with costumes and props!

Make friends and music with PLUK! Join our Songwriting Club – Summer Edition at the Wiltshire Music Centre. For ages 6-12, this fun and creative workshop helps young musicians write lyrics, explore melodies, and create original songs together over 10 sessions. No experience needed – just imagination and a love of music!

Join Beth for Devising Drama, a chance to develop skills, build confidence and make new friends. Together you’ll devise and create your very own play in just three days!

Have you ever wanted to produce your own animated film? With professional film director Jamie McDine you will learn the skills of stop-frame animation, with lots of hands on activities, where you become the director – you will build your own LEGO scenes and even plan and produce your own animation!

SASS Circus are excited to share a wonderful day of circus with you. Our highly trained coaches will share an exciting array of games and actives including a mix of ground based skills and aerial antics. SASS Circus have been teaching children’s circus for over a decade and cannot wait to be part of the music centre’s summer program. Our workshops are inclusive, fun and engaging, best suited to those ages 5-13.

We teach the fundamentals of music in a fun and engaging class for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The class is based on Kodaly and taught by trained musicians. Little ones will learn about pitch, tempo, dynamics and more. The class will include original songs, instruments, moving to music, props and puppets.

Rock The Tots are delighted to bring you their fresh 2025 Summer Party. Steph & Craig and their puppet friends perform gigs for little people… and their grown-ups! You can expect covers of some great summery songs, plus some of the best tunes of the year. With bubbles, puppets an more, this is a great gig for all the family, guaranteed to make you want to sing and dance!

Dive into an enchanting morning at our Mermaid Dance Party! All children are invited to swim and sway like magical mermaids, with dances all about sea creatures, shells and life on the ocean waves. Join us for a splash of fun with vibrant props and costume accessories for the little ones to wear, along with creative dances inspired by mermaid adventures. Fancy dress is encouraged – come dressed as your favourite sea creature or mermaid!

Join Paddington Bear on a magical musical adventure perfect for families with children aged 3-8! Performed by Petra Schofeild (narrator) and Julie Payne (pianist), this charming show brings Michael Bond’s beloved story to life with music by Herbert Chappell. Follow Paddington as he arrives in London, meets the brown family, and shares delightful escapades. With live piano, engaging storytelling, and plenty of laugh, this heart warming performance is an ideal introduction to classical music for young children and a joyful experience for the whole family.
