Wiltshire Music Centre is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join its small and vibrant team as Head of Finance. This is a key role which will contribute to shaping the strategic financial planning and the day-to-day operations of the organisation across the entire spectrum of WMC’s activities, covering events and projects, fundraising and all other sources of income.
The Head of Finance is responsible for managing and administering the charitable company’s finances, accounts and tax, ensuring that appropriate records are maintained and robust financial monitoring is undertaken. The Head of Finance will ensure the timely production of a varied range of financial reports and accounts, including monthly management accounts and regulatory reporting. S/he will actively contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as the ongoing development of the financial strategy of the organisation.
The Head of Finance will confidently engage with colleagues across the organisation, will actively contribute to a shared understanding of the financial processes and objectives, will ensure budgets are met and support members of the team as required. This role requires a qualified accountant or candidates with significant relevant experience, with a firm grasp of technical financial matters and the right experience at the appropriate level of seniority to lead WMC through an exciting phase of the organisation’s development.

Wiltshire Music Centre is offering an exciting opportunity to join its small and vibrant team as Box Office Assistant. This casual role sits at the heart of the organisation’s operations, supporting income generation and high-quality customer experience.
The Box Office Assistant provides excellent customer service to all visitors and users and ensures the highest standards of customer care are maintained at all times. The Box Office Assistant provides reception, box office, operational and administrative support to the Wiltshire Music Centre, and creates a welcoming environment for all patrons, whilst maximising sales and profits as well as customer satisfaction. The role requires a conscientious, organised and personable individual, with excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience of working in a customer facing role and a natural can-do attitude to develop customer service skills and experience, working with artists, volunteers, audiences and the WMC staff team.
