WMC Project Manager

6-month fixed-term contract starting asap

£28,000 to £30,000 p.a. (commensurate with experience)

Wiltshire Music Centre, a NPO and an award-winning 300-seat concert hall showcasing 160 concerts of the highest quality every year across all genres and delivering an extensive Creative Learning programme, is offering an excellent opportunity to join its passionate and vibrant team as Project Manager.

In 2018 WMC celebrates its 20th Anniversary and plans for the next decade. The Project Manager is a new and pivotal role at the heart of an organisation that is rapidly expanding both in terms of volume and range of activities. The Project Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive and the senior management team to deliver WMC’s transversal projects, coordinate operations across the various departments and ensure the highest standards of delivery and service. Key areas of responsibilities include coordination of major events or projects, data & systems (incl. GDPR), digital, strategic and operational performance, business development.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, self-driven and adaptable person, with excellent communication skills and able to rapidly make a strong contribution in a changing environment. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management, senior administration or operations management is required.

Concert Managers

£8.47 p/h

Wiltshire Music Centre is one of the UK's finest purpose-built concert halls and presents a world-class programme of classical, folk, jazz and world music in over 150 concerts per year, as well as a year-round Creative Learning programme delivering music projects across Wiltshire and beyond.

We are looking to expand our team of Concert Managers, who lead a team of volunteers and front-of-house stewards to make our concerts happen. Concert Managers are responsible for everything from looking after internationally renowned artists and ensuring the safety of audiences to closing down the building at the end of the evening.  Full training is provided.

Box Office and Team Assistants

£7.73 p/h

We are looking to expand our team of Box Office and Team Assistants, in particular for evening shifts. The Box Office & Team Assistant assists with the day-to-day running of the Centre by handling all routine operational and administrative matters to provide good customer care and ensure that all events and activities run smoothly.
