NEW SEASON: Spring Summer 2022

Enjoy world-class performances both live and online this Spring Summer season at Wiltshire Music Centre.

There’s plenty of outstanding music to enjoy at Wiltshire Music Centre in Spring Summer 2022. Former youth orchestra member Cordelia Williams returns for an exquisite piano recital, as do our Orchestra in Residence, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, performing symphony masterpieces from Haydn. Also enjoy a WMC debut from international vocal ensemble VOCES8, and the continuation of our Young Artist Series. For folk fans we welcome Breabach, RANT and Midnight Skyracer (featuring Wiltshire-based Carrivick sisters!)

In January, Wiltshire’s biggest winter music festival Bradford Roots celebrates its 10th anniversary with plenty of local music. For those who enjoy Jazz, Empirical perform a spectacular showcase, as do Alex Mendham and his Orchestra. Later in the season, musical masters Gwilym Simcock and Thomas Gould team up to explore baroque and jazz. Maya Youssef is a virtuoso of the qanun (which is a 78-stringed plucked instrument) and returns to launch her album and present the two-day festival Finding Home, celebrating Syrian culture. Also enjoy an Indian dance performance from SEVENS and a sparkling production from the Inner Vision Orchestra – the only blind ensemble in the UK. Almost all this season’s events are available to enjoy with our state-of-the-art livestreams in crystal clear audio and high-definition video. Alongside this artistic programme, WMC continues to host a range of Creative Learning activities including Zone Club, Wiltshire Youth Choir and WMC Chorus.
